Each Thursday in June and September from 6 to 9 p.m., The District comes alive with street bands, carriage rides, an evening concert series and a Kids´ Camp with hands-on activities for the little ones.
Listen to music ranging from jazz to bluegrass to string quartets. Enjoy the talents of local artists exhibiting their wares and giving demonstrations of their technique.
Let your kids have fun with the clowns, the chalk art and the crawl-through adventures. Or, spend the evening watching the festival from the patio of a favorite local restaurant.
The District is the place to go for exciting nightlife or to meet friends for dinner. It's a unique and stylish shopping area that offers everything the others don't. It's a bustling business center and a hip place to live. It's a lively mix of historic architecture, sidewalk cafes, and street musicians.
We´re 43 not-so-square blocks bordered by three colleges. With over 110 unique shops, 70 bars and restaurants, 40 live performances a week, and 5900 parking spots, you´ll see what makes The District different. Discover what you've been missing when you discover The District.
